Personality versus Character

character personalityVery often I am told that one is looking for a person with “personality” and/or “character”.

Many times the words “personality” and “character” are used interchangeably. While related, there are distinct differences between the two words and their meanings. And like many other descriptions one may use, it is important to have clarity of definitions.

There are a number of definitions.

Self Awareness – Part Two


Imagine you were meeting with a potential investor for your new project. The investor is an incredibly goodhearted and wealthy person, and has the ability to fund your project with unlimited resources.

“So,” inquires the investor, “how can I help you?”

“Well,” you begin timidly, “I want you to know how much I love you. I think about you often. I am always amazed by your generosity and compassion for so many important charitable causes.”
